An introductory excursion took place within a framework of social project “Road into the future” on May, 27th, where children from State Institution “Nikolskiy resource center” visited construction objects of M-11 Moscow – Saint-Petersburg high speed highway in a company of specialists of ICA IC Ictas-Astaldi, a large international construction company, which is a main contractor in realization of stages 7 and 8, and “Two Capitals Highway”, the Employer of the project.
“Road into the future” is a social project organized by Autonomous Non-Сommercial Organization "Directorate for Development of St.Petersburg and Leningrad Region Transport System", directed to raise a social importance of transport professions, vocational guidance in formation of professional, living and cultural self-determination and self-realization of children from 10 to 18 years old.

Before the excursion, specialists of ICA IC Ictas-Astaldi conducted an introductory training and equipped all participants with personal protection gear, showed a video on construction of M-11 highway as well as other infrastructural objects – Western High Speed Diameter, Pulkovo airport and Third Bridge over Bosforus in Turkey. After that the wards of State Institution “Nikolskiy resource center” accompanied by the specialists of ICA Ic Ictas-Astaldi and TCH visited a few construction sites of M-11 highway, in particular bridge over Izhora river as an example of realization of a complex object at the highway, as well as the finished stretches of the stages 7 and 8.
We remind that the technological passage through stages 7 and 8 will be opened in summer, and a solemn opening event will take place in autumn of 2019.
ICA IC Içtas Astaldi

The company was organized with the participation of IC İçtaş Construction, the primary company of IC İbrahim Çeçen Yatırım Holding A. Ş., which took part in the large-scale international projects, as well as of Astaldi, a successful international construction group.
Nowadays, the Company operates in Italy, Central Europe, Russia, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa, Latin and North America.
The company participated in construction of a new terminal of Pulkovo airport and reconstruction of Pulkovo-1 airport in St. Petersburg; acted as construction of the central section of the Western High-Speed Diameter.
Two Capitals Highway
Two Capitals Highway LLC was established in July 2013 by VTB Capital and VINCI Group (France) to implement the project of construction and operation of Sections 7 and 8 of M-11 Moscow – St. Petersburg Toll Highway on the base of the public and private partnership.
Concession agreement
In April 2014, Two Capitals Highway LLC won the open tender for the right of conclusion of the concession agreement on financing, construction and toll operation of Moscow – St. Petersburg Highway at sections km 543 – km 646 and km 646 – km 684. The Concession Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation represented by the "Russian Highways" State Company (Avtodor) and Two Capitals Highway LLC was signed on November 18, 2014.
Term of the agreement
The Agreement was concluded for 27 years (from November 2014, for construction phase of 2015–2018, and operation phase of 2018–2041).
